10 days into the New Year 2016

10 days into the New Year 2016.

How has it been for you?

When I asked my colleagues and my friends, there are those who are trying to keep their eyes open after a week of waking up at 5.00am for the kids’ school time.

Then there are those who had unexpected clients who signed the agreement and that means commission for them. Unexpected windfall.

Of course there are those, like me, who are recovering from being sick. Spending the holidays indoors and hugging the teddy bear for comfort was nice for a while but it just got too boring when everyone is out there wining and dining to close the year and welcome the new one.

My week went by quite quickly. Finally got to execute all the planning for the year and colleagues are around to brain storm to tweak for the launching. During the December month, there were lots of planning but no conclusive decisions as many of the key people were on holidays.

So, the new year is good, because work rhythm is picking up and engine is picking up speed.

It’s gonna be a good year.

Wohoo!

Some of the words my friends used to describe their first week of 2016:

  • Energised and hopeful
  • Exciting
  • Fine tuning strategies and moving forward
  • Nothing comes easy. Bring it on 2016, I’m all ready!!!
  • It’s gonna be awesome!

Ms Annie Siow Lee Khoon’s life was turned upside down when a spurned suitor slashed her face and poured boiling water over her. Instead of being vengeful, she has found peace of mind and has blossomed into an inspirational speaker.
